Samyabadi Dal leaders minus ex-minister Dilip Barua met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday night and decide in principle to join the BNP-led 19-party alliance.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia sits with the top leaders of the 19-party alliance on Wednesday night at her Gulshan office to decide action to strengthen their anti-government movement.
Apart from protesting the recent killings, abductions and forced disappearances, the meeting will discuss “country’s latest political situation”, party sources said.
Sources indicated that Samyabadi Dal’s joining the alliance could also be declared at the meet.
