He was made to do it.                    English Language Tips 2: Write `law-and-order situation`, NOT `law and order situation`, When you write simply `law land order`, there is no need for using hyphen, as there is no need to make it a compound word. In the first instance, law-and-order is made into a compound word to create an adjective to qulify the noun situation. In the second, the phrase law and order is not followed by any such NP and so you need not use such hyphenated compound as adjective.                    English Language Tips 1: Write `adviser to the prime minister`, NOT `adviser of the prime minister`.                    Write `adviser of the government`, NOT `adviser to the government`.

uns24.com

The results of Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations will be published today (Sunday).

A total of 1,073,884 students under 10 education boards, including madrasa and technical boards, took this year’s exams held between April 1 and June 22.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban around 10am.

Nahid will officially announce the results and brief the press later around 1pm at the Secretariat.

The students will be able to get their results at their institutions and also on the education ministry website from 2pm.

The educational institutions will receive the results in e-mail. Like the previous years, students will also be able to know their result via SMS on their mobile phones.

They will have to send an SMS to 16222 with text `HSC` followed by a space then first 3 letters of the respective education board then another space then roll number followed by space again then `2015`.

For example: hsc dha 123456 2015 and send to 16222.

Madrasa students will have to write ‘Alim’ and ‘Mad’ instead of ‘HSC’ and respective board’s first three letters. The rest of the process is same.

For vocational results, students will have to write ‘Tec’ instead of the board’s name. The rest of the process is same.
