He was made to do it.                    English Language Tips 2: Write `law-and-order situation`, NOT `law and order situation`, When you write simply `law land order`, there is no need for using hyphen, as there is no need to make it a compound word. In the first instance, law-and-order is made into a compound word to create an adjective to qulify the noun situation. In the second, the phrase law and order is not followed by any such NP and so you need not use such hyphenated compound as adjective.                    English Language Tips 1: Write `adviser to the prime minister`, NOT `adviser of the prime minister`.                    Write `adviser of the government`, NOT `adviser to the government`.

Bangladesh beat SL in crucial match of Asia Cup T2 tourney

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka in a crucial match of the Asia Cup T20 tournament by 23 runs in Dhaka`s Sher-e-Bangla national stadium Sunday, booking the Tigers` second win in the short-version cricket tourney.

Bowlers showed their mite once again, after a scintillating knock from Sabbir Rahman, to propel the hosts to their first-ever Twenty20 win against Sri Lanka.

Sabbir cracked a dazzling 80 off 54 balls and paired in a fine fourth-wicket stand with Shakib Al Hasan (32) to help the Tigers plot a recovery from an initial setback.

Bangladesh posted 147 for 7 with the help of Mahmudullah`s resolve late in the innings.

Backed by a roaring home crowd, the bowlers then tore through the Sri Lanka batting line-up to restrict the islanders to 124 for 8.
