He was made to do it.                    English Language Tips 2: Write `law-and-order situation`, NOT `law and order situation`, When you write simply `law land order`, there is no need for using hyphen, as there is no need to make it a compound word. In the first instance, law-and-order is made into a compound word to create an adjective to qulify the noun situation. In the second, the phrase law and order is not followed by any such NP and so you need not use such hyphenated compound as adjective.                    English Language Tips 1: Write `adviser to the prime minister`, NOT `adviser of the prime minister`.                    Write `adviser of the government`, NOT `adviser to the government`.

uns24.com

Nine people were killed and several injured as a bridge collapsed under the load of a Red Crescent truck carrying aid for Rohingya refugees in Bandarban hill district Thursday, in what seems a tragedy-within-tragedy.

Reports said the accident occurred near the BGB Chadkhala Border Post in Naikhyongchhari Upazila around 8am.

The truck was carrying relief supplies to the temporary Rohingya camp at Naikhyongchhari’s Shonkhola, one of many makeshift shelters opened here and in neighbouring Cox`sbazar frontier district for nearly half a million Myanmar minority people pushed out of Rakhine state through `ethnic cleansing` by military and vigilante atrocities.

“A bridge gave in as they were crossing it. Six died on the spot,” says an immediate official account of the crash. The others were reported dead later on.

The wounded were taken to Naikhyongchhari Upazila Medical Complex for treatment.
